Both cards were in his wallet the day he was killed (Jan. 27, 1930 at 11:37am) when the
Kerr oil well rig exploded near the Wise farmhouse outside of Konawa, Oklahoma.
Claude's Grandfather, John G. Shawbell was also a Freemason.
